This policy explains how the Towerly app (“Towerly”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. Please read it before using the app.

Information we collect

Towerly does not require an account. We do not ask you for your name, postal address or payment details.

Stored on your device. What you create in the app — your tower, focus history, tasks, progress and settings — is kept on your device and is not uploaded to us.

Collected automatically. When you use the app, we and the providers who support it may receive:

• device and app details, such as device model, operating system version, language, time zone and app version;
• device identifiers, including your device’s advertising identifier and an identifier assigned to us by your device;
• a notification token, if you allow notifications;
• approximate location derived from your IP address, such as your country;
• general usage and diagnostic information, such as when the app is opened and how it performs.

How we use information

• to operate, maintain and improve the app;
• to understand how the app is discovered and installed, and to measure how our marketing performs;
• to send notifications you have agreed to receive;
• to detect and prevent technical problems, fraud and misuse;
• to meet legal obligations.

Advertising identifier and tracking

Before the app uses your device’s advertising identifier for tracking, iOS asks for your permission. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The app works fully either way.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share limited information with:

• providers who help us run the app, measure marketing performance, deliver notifications and host content, acting on our instructions;
• advertising and analytics partners, for the measurement purposes described above;
• authorities or others where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public;
• a successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Anything stored locally is removed when you delete the app.

Your choices

• Tracking — manage it in iOS Settings, as described above.
• Notifications — manage them in Settings → Notifications.
• Local data — reset it inside the app, or delete the app.
• Requests — email us to ask what we hold, or to have it deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, or to object to it. Contact us and we will respond as applicable law requires.

Children

Towerly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, where data protection laws may differ. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
